Clinical Research

Buffalo Heart Group has been involved with clinical research trials for more than 15 years. We have conducted both pharmaceutical and device trials. Currently, we have a dedicated Clinical Research Department that includes; invasive and noninvasive cardiologists, electrophysiology, and clinical research coordinators operating in both hospital and office settings.  Our research department has obtained FWA (Federal Wide Assurance) and is SOCRA (Society of Clinical Research Association) affiliated.
Over the years, we have partnered with several research institutions including; Duke Clinical Research Institute, Harvard Clinical Research Institute, Cleveland Clinic and the National Institutes for Health. Our primary mission is to actively contribute to the development of new cardiovascular therapies. Our extensive experience has contributed to the development of several FDA approved treatments and devices for congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmia management.

Our Research Department administrative offices are located at 3435 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY, 14215. If you would like more information about our clinical trials and research programs, please contact our Director of Clinical Research Theresa Giambra, RN, CCRP at 716-835-2966.
