Clinical Research
Buffalo Heart Group has been involved with clinical trials for over 15 years. We have conducted phase I-IV pharmaceutical and device trials. Currently, we have a dedicated Clinical Research Department that includes; invasive and noninvasive cardiologists, electrophysiology, clinical research coordinators in both hospital and office based settings. Our research department has obtained FWA (Federal Wide Assurance) and is SOCRA (Society of Clinical Research Association) affiliated.

We have partnered with several research institutions including; Duke Clinical Research Institute, Harvard Clinical Research Institute, Cleveland Clinic and the National Institutes for Health. Buffalo Heart Group has actively participated in multi-center, international trials involving drug eluding stents, embolic protection, intravascular ultrasound, anti-platelet agents in ACS patients, anticoagulation for atrial fibrillation, cardiovascular disease and metabolic syndrome, congestive heart failure, lipid lowering agents and arrhythmia management.
Our mission is to contribute to the development of new cardiovascular therapies and offer our patients the most current information and treatments available. Our experience includes several FDA approved treatments and devices for congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, hyperlipidemia, and arrhythmia management.
